Storm King Boat Club has become an all-weather facility with the acquisition of a Concept II Rowing Machine. The state of the art device provides club members with a training option when it's too windy, wet, cold or foggy. It is also a vital tool for teaching beginners the basic rowing stroke and even provides competitive school and club members with a National standard selection and training tool.

Southern Downs Regional Council has generously provided the funding for this equipment through its Community grants program, ensuring that SKBC can provide options for its growing club membership, which has reached over 60. SKBC greatly appreciates Council's ongoing support for its rapid development.
